Our approach

Fair to every customer, by design.

Asking for reviews is allowed. Picking who gets asked, or rewarding good reviews, isn’t. These are the rules FreshStarz is built on.

Principles

Seven rules we don’t bend.

  1. The same two buttons for everyone.

Every customer sees “Post on Google” and “Private note to owner,” the same size, on the same page, whatever rating they give.

  2. No review gating.

We never hide, delay or move the Google button based on a rating. There’s no setting to send only happy customers to Google.

  3. No incentives.

No discounts, gifts, contests or other rewards for reviews, and we don’t let businesses add them.

  4. No asking for a particular rating.

Our messages ask how the job went. They never ask for 5 stars or suggest what to write.

  5. Alerts are for fixing problems, not hiding reviews.

An alert on 3 stars or less lets an owner call back and put things right. The customer can still post on Google, whatever happens next.

  6. AI replies never post on their own.

When AI review replies arrive, the owner reads, edits and approves every draft. Nothing goes on Google without the owner’s approval. Coming soon

  7. We follow Google’s review policies.

We build FreshStarz to follow Google’s review policy, and we’ll update it as those rules change.

Google’s rules

Google has strict policies about how businesses collect reviews: no review gating, no incentives and no fake reviews (Google’s policy). FreshStarz is designed around them.

Make asking easy, after every job.
