Questions

Is FreshStarz only for new businesses?

No. It works the same whether you have no reviews yet, a few dozen, or hundreds. Newer businesses use it to get their first reviews. Established ones use it to keep recent reviews coming in.

Is this allowed by Google?

Yes. Google has strict policies about how businesses collect reviews: no review gating, no incentives and no fake reviews (Google’s policy). FreshStarz is designed around them. Every customer sees the same Google button, whatever rating they give. We don’t offer rewards and we don’t filter anyone out.

Will this get me more reviews?

We can’t promise that. Many happy customers simply forget to leave a review. FreshStarz makes asking easy and consistent. What they write is up to them.

Can I send it only to happy customers?

No. That’s called review gating, and Google penalizes it. FreshStarz is built so that every customer gets the same page.

Is the star rating public?

No. It stays private and only you see it. A public review happens only if the customer chooses “Post on Google” and writes it there.

Is texting my customers legal in Canada?

Yes, when the rules are followed. Canada’s anti-spam law (CASL) generally lets you message someone who bought from you in the past 2 years. Every message names your business and includes an easy way to opt out. STOP replies are handled automatically.

Do my customers need an app or an account?

No. It’s one web page that works on any phone.

When does it launch?

We’re building it. We’ll launch in Ontario, then across Canada, and email everyone on the list when it’s ready.

Will I have to pay to join the list?

No. Signing up is free. If we ever offer an optional, refundable deposit, you can say no.
